Teamwork Analytics can be deployed as SaaS either run by Modality in Modality Azure or run on your customer tenant by Modality.

To run as Modality SaaS you will be sending some links for your Office 365 administrator to approve read access to the data and to enable automation to send Teams messages to your users. 

To run SaaS on your tenant we will ask for limited access to a specific area of your tenant, either via Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider or via Azure Lighthouse. The same approval links will be to be clicked and approved by an Office 365 admin.

There is a third option where Modality provides the Azure ARM template to customers for them to self deploy, this is the most complex as all set up and ongoing administration of automation and alerting must be configured by customer operations. Details of this model are held on our customer access only documentation site: Secure Documentation (modalitysystems.com) - This site also documents the architecture for customers who want to understand how data is collected and stored for their information. Customers can self-register for access to this information.

This section of the public documentation provides the details of how Modality SaaS or Customer Tenant SaaS is set up. For Customer Tenant SaaS we will talk to you directly about CSP or direct tenant access. For Modality SaaS You will need to take the approval steps for Usage and Governance and Calls and Meetings. You will be sent links by our Customer Intelligence team for you to approve.
